homecoming or leaving home?

packing and cleaning and saying goodbye was draining, physically and emotionally.  it was SO hard to say goodbye to such dear friends.  i am glad lyndsey was there so i didn't have to leave by myself.  we flew from shanghai together and then seperately to our homes in the states.

i miss the Family and my Girls in Ningbo.  i talk about you all a lot!  and it makes me happy to watch videos and look at the pictures of you!

i am with my parents in bentonville for the next 2 weeks.  then i plan to travel around for a while to see friends and family as much as possible before heading to abilene mid-august.  i am really looking forward to catching up with dear ones and about going to school.  reverse-culture shock hasn't seem to hit yet...except for my SHOCK about how expensive everything is here.

i love you all.  thank you for your encouragement.  let me know how you are and what is going on in your lives!  God be with you all and give you peace!

with only a week and a half left...

some of the girls took lynz and me out to dinner.  it was so nice of them!  we had a lot of fun and tried not to think about having to leave.  while most of the girls are juniors, a few graduated last week.

so to you girls:  Congratulations Ningbo University Graduates!  i am very proud your success and of who you are!  i love you!
